Project Zero - A Poster Collection on Graphic Design Rules

Before diving into briefs and projects, I want to introduce myself through this poster series. Each design reflects a principle, rule, or insight that shapes how I work as a graphic designer — sometimes by following the rule, sometimes by bending it.

This collection is both a creative exercise and a personal statement: a way to explore design fundamentals while also showing how I interpret them. Consider it a visual introduction to my design mindset.

Project One - Music & Events Website

As part of my thesis project, I worked with my project partner on a real-world case for an early-stage startup, expanding on work initiated by a previous team. Since the product is set to launch later this year, the project is presented anonymously. I have, however, received approval to showcase the work with selected details obscured.

introduction

We designed an interactive web prototype for a music-based event platform. The project focused on creating a user-friendly, accessible, and visually consistent experience.

My role

  • Visual identity & design system

  • Logo design

  • Accessibility (WCAG principles)

  • Project organization

  • Visual consistency

Lo-Fi prototype

Following the initial direction, my focus was on structuring the platform by organizing features, content, and user flows into a clear system. This helped establish a solid foundation and aligned the team.

We then translated these ideas into low-fidelity prototypes, exploring layout, navigation, and core interactions. This allowed us to quickly iterate, validate structure, and refine the user experience before moving into high-fidelity design.

Project Two - Girlhood Ephemera

Concept

Girlhood Ephemera is a conceptual brand and digital experience inspired by the ever-growing junk journaling and scrapbooking community. Rooted in girlhood aesthetics of whimsy and playfulness, the concept reimagines the experience of buying and collecting stickers as something more personal, creative and collectible.

Features

The core feature is a tool where users can create their own personalized sticker sheets. By selecting stickers, naming their sheet and building a small visual collection, the experience becomes part design tool, part digital scrapbook. The finished sticker sheet is then delivered to your front door, ready to be used in your own creative projects.

Visual Identity

The visual identity draws from nostalgic color palettes, playful typography and scrapbook-inspired compositions. The goal was to create a digital experience that feels personal and tactile, like a handmade journal page. The colors were chosen from seeing what's trending in the community of scrapbooking,
